The latest version of the award-winning, general-purpose computer software package JKSimMet is now available, providing users with a range of improvements and bug fixes.
Improvements
Import Feature
- Users can import flowsheets from other .jksmu files into the current opened file.
Bal-to-Exp Data Transfer
- Users can copy all stream data from balanced columns to experimental columns in a single click, with SDs updated automatically.
Default Parameters for Information Blocks
- Stream Info Blocks can now be populated with pre-set properties for key data combinations (Exp Vs Bal, Exp Vs Fit, and Fit Vs Sim).
Stream and Equipment Position Control
- Users can refine equipment and stream positions using keyboard arrows.
Flowsheet Zoom
- Users can zoom in and out of flowsheets using the mouse wheel scroll and keyboard Shift key.
Backward Compatibility
- The software is now compatible with old JKSimMet (v5, v6, v6.01, v6.2) file formats.
A range of bug fixes and stability improvements have also been implemented.
