About

At JKTech, we are proud to be at the forefront of applying the latest research and technology to support the mining industry toward a sustainable and productive future.

JKTech Pty Ltd is a trusted, independent partner committed to helping mining operations achieve their future production goals. Through our comprehensive services—consultancy, laboratory testing, training, product development, and ongoing support—we assist clients across the entire mining value chain.

Our close alignment with The University of Queensland’s Sustainable Minerals Institute (SMI) allows us to deliver innovative solutions that integrate cutting-edge advancements and sustainable outcomes and offer an important link between research and the global minerals industry.

JKTech is a ‘not-for-profit’ ‘profit-for-purpose’ organisation with its proceeds used to support student education, development pathways for new technologies and improving industry operations and outcomes. We achieve this through the proceeds of commercial delivery of solutions to the global mining industry through Australian based JKTech Pty Ltd and in South America through our Chilean based SMI-ICE-Chile

SMI-ICE-Chile develops and provides industry & governments with sustainability solutions for the mining industry and local society leveraging off JKTech, SMI and UQ research, solutions and expertise.
