JKSimFloat training

JKTech’s flotation simulator, JKSimFloat, is the global industry standard for the modelling and simulation of flotation circuits. JKTech offers JKSimFloat training in different tiers:

  • Introductory training (4-weeks access to pre-recorded videos online, 2-days equivalent)
    • Mass balancing and simple simulation workflows
  • Intensive training (5-days in-person only)
    • Mass balancing, model fitting and advanced simulation workflows

The online course (2-day equivalent) introduces participants to the concepts underlying the AMIRA P9 flotation kinetic models, methods to characterise flotation cell performance, mass balancing in JKSimFloat, and introductory-level simulation workflows in the software. The course is ideal for those wishing to familiarise themselves with flotation models and to better understand how flotation modelling may play a role in site projects and optimisation initiatives.

The intensive 5-day course (in-person only) teaches participants how to develop flotation models from survey data, including the offline analytical workflows required outside of the software. There are options to expand the scope of training to include a flotation circuit survey following the 5-days of software training, and further options for on-going assistance with data analysis once survey data is available. Contact JKTech for more information.

Duration:

Introductory course (equivalent to 2-days in-person), 4 weeks access to pre-recorded videos.

‘Intensive’ 5-day course delivered in-person only. Contact JKTech for more details

Course Delivery:Public course (custom in-house courses are also available on request)
