Bevin Wong is a highly proficient minerals processing engineer with over 15 years of operation and project experience.

Bevin joined JKTech in 2012 as the Processing Manager and performs process consulting activities including process mineralogy, data analytics, metallurgical testwork and analysis, due diligence and peer review work, metallurgical and process design aspects of scoping, pre-feasibility studies and process mineralogy, while managing a multi-disciplined group of process specialists.  Also during this time, Bevin part of the world class team of industry experts supporting the development of the Rio Tinto Processing Excellence Centre, by managing and developing improvement projects at its’ global operations using a variety of tools for processing data analytics.

Bevin began his career at Xstrata as a plant metallurgist before becoming metallurgical superintendent and then senior project metallurgist of project development division where he was responsible for management of the metallurgical programs for several greenfield projects and feasibility studies including Antapaccay, Las Bambas, El Pachon and Frieda River. He then became lead metallurgist for the Mount Isa Open Pit (MIOP) Project.
