Details for JK Webinar: The JK Mill Filling Inference Tool (JKMillFIT) and its role in a Mine-to-Mill Process Integration

Important note:  Dates and times are listed in AEST

Overview:  The JKMillFIT, a development at The University of Queensland, is a soft sensor designed to infer both the ball load and the SAG mill filling in real time. This is achieved by integrating any available instrumentation readings, such as bearing pressure or load cells, with the JK’s mill power and ball/liner wear proprietary models. It’s well established that mill filling drives SAG mill power, throughput and fines generation; hence the importance of providing operators with a high-resolution snapshot of mill’s performance, and accurate operating limits. This webinar will detail real applications and how this information can lead to redefine the process control strategy, and to monitor plant response to the current ore blending practices.
